Congratulations
to David Schilies, Jonathan Biggerstaff Myers, Meredith
Mapes and Rya Berrigan for their accomplishments at the Alaska
State Fair.
- Jonathan
won Grand Champion for market swine, Grand Champion for Junior
Swine Showmanship for, Master Showmanship in his division,
Grand Champion
for Breeding Swine, and overall Supreme Champion for all classes,
all
divisions.
- David won Fifth in Intermediate
Swine Showmanship, eighth in Breeding Swine,
and 11th in Market Swine. This was David's first year in 4-H
and in
livestock.
- Meredith won Reserve Grand
Champion for Swine Showmanship in the
intermediate division.
- Rya, a Clover Bud member, won
ribbons for two sets of flowers, raspberries,
carrots, and potatoes.
